በኢትዮጵያ የመጀመሪያው ሙሉ በሙሉ ከወለድ ነፃ ባንክ በመሆን ወደ ገበያው የገባው ዘምዘም ባንክ ለደንበኞቹ የሰጠውን የብድር መጠን በዕጥፍ ሲያሳድግ የዲጂታል የብድር አቅርቦቱንም በ2006 በመቶ ማሳደግ መቻሉ ተገለጸ፡፡ ከዘምዘም ባንክ የተገኘው መረጃ እንደሚያመለክተው፣ በ2018 የሒሳብ ዓመት በዘጠኝ ወራት ውስጥ ለደንበኞቹ የለቀቀው የብድር መጠን በዕጥፍ በማሳደግ 12.4 ቢሊዮን ብር ደርሷል፡፡ ባንኩ በ2017 የሒሳብ ዓመት በዘጠኝ ወራት ደርሶበት የነበረው የብድር መጠን 6.2 ቢሊዮን ብር እንደነበር የባንኩ መረጃ ያሳያል፡፡ ይህ የፋይናንስ አቅርቦት መጠን በባንኩ ታሪክ በከፍተኛነቱ የሚገለጽና ለመጀመሪያ ጊዜ የብድር አቅርቦትን በዕጥፍ ያሳደገበት ዓመት ሆኗል፡፡ በብድር መጠኑ ብቻ ሳይሆን የተበዳሪዎችንም ቁጥር ማሳደግ የቻለበትን ዕድል እንደፈጠረለትም ይሄው የባንኩ መረጃ ያመለክታል፡፡   ከመደበኛው የብድር አቅርቦት ባሻገር በ2018 የሒሳብ ዓመት በዘጠኝ ወራት ‹‹አንሰር›› የሚል መጠሪያ በሰጠው የዲጂታል ብድር አገልግሎትም ከ1.15 ቢሊዮን ብር በላይ ፋይናንስ አድርጓል፡፡ 80 በመቶ ሴቶችን በፋይናንስ ለመድረስ ግብ በማስቀመጥ ካለፈው ዓመት ጀምሮ ወደ ሥራ ባስገባው በአንሰር የዲጂታል ብድር አገልግሎት ለተጠቃሚዎች የሰጠው የብድር መጠን ከቀዳሚው ዓመት ተመሳሳይ ወቅት ጋር ሲነፃፀር ከ2006 በመቶ በላይ ብልጫ ያለው...

Panic has gripped the Umulogho community in the Obowo Local Government Area of Imo State following the gruesome killing of a female student of the College of Nursing, Umuadara Umulogho, identified as Wendy Achumba. The student was reportedly found beheaded in her room on Thursday evening after neighbours became worried when she neither came out nor responded to repeated calls. Sources in the community said the victim, who hailed from Ngwa in Abia State, had completed her midwifery programme and was undergoing post-basic training at the institution. Joint airstrikes by the US and Nigeria have killed at least 175 fighters of the so-called Islamic State (IS) terror group in Nigeria’s northeast. The jihadist group’s global second-in-command was among those killed, according to the US Africa Command (AFRICOM).
