MANZINI – University of Eswatini Vice Chancellor Professor Justice Mandla Thwala has challenged employees to start planning for life after formal employment long before retirement. Thwala warned that leaving the workplace without adequate preparation can undermine financial security, health, purpose and dignity in later life. Thwala was speaking yesterday at the Post Work Life Planning Conference held at Happy Valley Hotel in Zulwini, where he emphasised that retirement should no longer be regarded simply as the point at which an employee stops receiving a salary, but as the beginning of a new chapter that requires deliberate preparation. By Amos Tayebwa Hundreds of thousands of people are being reached by the Inspire Africa Coffee project in Rwashamaire, Ntungamo District, as the facility continues to expand coffee processing, product development and tourism-related activities. The project, which has recorded significant progress in product standardisation and value addition, is positioning Africa Coffee Park as a potential coffee tourism destination on the continent. According to Nelson Tugume, the Chief Executive Officer of Inspire Africa Group, the project has undergone major physical and human resource transformation in only three years since its establishment. Tugume said about 28 products have so far been innovated at the facility, with the company now looking at expanding coffee value addition for both the Ugandan market and export. Ongwe has accelerated its exploration programme at the newly discovered Nguni gold prospect, situated 17 km east of the Manga gold discovery at its Omatjete gold project. Nguni is a large, high-grade gold-in-soil anomaly discovered by Ongwe in May 2026 via a regional soil sampling programme The programme targeted the regionally significant Okondeka fault zone which hosts both Gold’s Kokoseb gold deposit and Ongwe’s Manga gold discovery. CONAKRY – Le dossier de l’activiste Bella Bah, interpellé dans la soirée du samedi 8 août 2026 à Conakry, pourrait connaître une nouvelle évolution dans les prochaines heures. Selon une source proche du dossier, le défèrement de l’activiste devant un juge d’instruction pourrait intervenir ce mercredi 12 août 2026 ou, au plus tard, jeudi 13 août 2026. ከ15 በላይ በሚሆኑ ድርጅቶች ላይ ሕጋዊ ዕርምጃ መወሰዱ ተገልጿል በኢትዮጵያ የሚገኙ አብዛኛዎቹ የኦዲት ተቋማት ከስታንዳርድ በታች እየሠሩ መሆናቸው በኦዲት ጥራት ግምገማ ማረጋገጡን፣ የኢትዮጵያ ሒሳብ አያያዝና ኦዲት ቦርድ አስታወቀ፡፡ ቦርዱ ባለፉት አራት ዓመታት በ190 የኦዲት ድርጅቶች ላይ ያካሄደውን የጥራት የግምገማ ሪፖርት፣ ነሐሴ 4 ቀን 2018 ዓ.ም. የተለያዩ ኦዲት ድርጅቶችና ሌሎች ባለድርሻ አካላት ባሉበት ባካሄደው አገር አቀፍ ኮንፈረንስ ለመጀመሪያ ጊዜ ይፋ አድርጓል። የኢትዮጵያ ሒሳብ አያያዝና ኦዲት ቦርድ ምክትል ዋና ዳይሬክተር አቶ ፍቃዱ አጎናፍር፣ በቦርዱ ተመዝግበው አገልግሎት እየሰጡ ከሚገኙ 231 ከሚደርሱ የኦዲት ድርጅቶች ውስጥ፣ በ190 ድርጅቶች ላይ ለመጀመሪያ ጊዜ ከ2014 ዓ.ም. አጋማሽ እስከ 2018 ዓ.ም. መጨረሻ የኦዲት ጥናት ግምገማ መደረጉን ለሪፖርተር ተናግረዋል። በተደረገው የኦዲት ጥራት ምርመራ መሠረት ሁሉም ድርጅቶች ተመሳሳይ አቋም ላይ መሆናቸውን፣ በርካቶቹም የኦዲት ጥራት ስታንዳርዶችን ተከትለው የመሥራት ችግር እንደተገኘባቸው ገልጸዋል። የተጠናከረ የተቋም አደረጃጀት ክፍተት፣ የሰው ኃይል አቅርቦት፣ የአቅም ግንባታ ውስንነት በአብዛኞቹ ድርጅቶች ውስጥ መስተዋሉን ጨምረው አስረድተዋል። የቦርዱ የኦዲት ጥራት ግምገማ ባለሙያ አቶ በርናባስ አያሌው በበኩላቸው፣ በ2014 ዓ.ም. በሦስት፣ በ2015 ዓ.ም. በ22፣...
