The Namibia Special Risks Insurance Association Limited (NASRIA) has approved N$231,818.83 in sponsorship funds toward initiatives aligned with its Corporate Social Responsibility and Investment (CSR&I) priorities for the first quarter of the 2026/27 financial year.
The funding allocation targets key social and economic sectors across the country, focusing primarily on education, healthcare, community development, and stakeholder engagement.
NASRIA, in a statement, said the investment supports practical initiatives, including education infrastructure and resources, digital learning, healthcare equipment, community development programmes, and initiatives contributing to the advancement of Namibia’s insurance sector.
“The CSR&I programme forms part of our broader commitment to ensuring that our resources are channeled towards high-impact initiatives that address identified community needs and contribute to long-term social value.”
They emphasised that the sponsorship handover underscores their role not only as a specialist insurer, but also as a responsible corporate citizen committed to contributing to Namibia’s socio-economic development.
“We continue to translate our corporate responsibility into tangible community impact, investing in initiatives that help build stronger, more resilient communities.”
