82 The Barbados Police Service (TBPS) is seeking the public’s assistance in locating Dwayne Marlon Drakes, alias Oily, who is wanted for questioning in connection with serious criminal matters. Drakes is approximately five feet seven inches tall, of dark complexion and slim. He also has a scar on his forehead, a tattoo with the words ‘for the wages of sin is death’ on his left hand and the image of a cross on the right hand. La construcción del Hospital Anita Moreno, en Los Santos, se retomó a finales de julio de 2025 y el pasado viernes, la Contraloría General de la República refrendó la novena adenda que se le hace al contrato de la obra. Este anexo al documento es por 59 millones 628 mil 681 dólares con 87 centavos ($59,628,681.87) y se firma luego que hace más de tres semanas, el contralor Anel Flores inspeccionara el proyecto. The 2026 Action Theme is “Strong Marine Protected Areas for Our Blue Planet”, which highlights the fact that coral reefs are under extreme pressure from warming oceans, coral disease outbreaks, pollution and other threats. The reefs surrounding the Cayman Islands have benefited from 40 years of Marine Protected Areas (MPAs) and are in slightly better condition than most in the region. However, there is no doubt that Cayman’s reefs have degraded, and the threats to marine life are growing all the time. Jakobe Jaheem Yarde of Nurse Land, Bank Hall, has denied murdering Jerome Stuart, 25, of 8th Avenue, New Orleans, on April 16, 2022. (CNS): A 66-year-old man was formally charged over a week ago with impersonating a medical doctor and related drug offences, the RCIPS said on Monday. In a release, the police said that in December 2025, they received reports that an employee of a local medical services company had allegedly purchased prescription medication, including controlled drugs, on multiple occasions while falsely representing himself as a physician licensed to practice in the Cayman Islands. Following enquiries by the RCIPS, the man was arrested. Police officers searched the vehicle the suspect had been driving and recovered documents relevant to the investigation. He was subsequently charged on Sunday, 1 June, with impersonating a medical doctor or licentiate of medicine (a person who holds a licence to practice medicine).
