emart24, a leading convenience store brand from South Korea, continues its rapid expansion across Cambodia following strong support from local customers. In response to growing demand for Korean food, coffee, snacks, and lifestyle products, emart24 officially launched its 22nd branch on May 29, 2026, at Peng Huoth Euro Park, Sangkat Niroth, Khan Chbar Ampov, Phnom Penh.
With the opening of four new branches in June, emart24 Coconut Park Koh Norea, emart24 Kampuchea Krom, emart24 Sen Sok City, and emart24 Peng Huoth Euro Park, customers can enjoy a unique and diverse shopping experience featuring freshly prepared Korean cuisine, premium coffee, popular Korean snacks, trending products, and a wide selection of beauty and lifestyle items.
Each store is designed to deliver an authentic Korean cultural experience, allowing customers to feel as though they have stepped into Seoul. The experience is enhanced by the latest K-Pop music played in-store, with playlists updated weekly to reflect current trends in Korean entertainment.
emart24 remains committed to expanding its presence across Cambodia to meet increasing market demand. Beyond retail convenience, the brand aims to introduce Korean culture, cuisine, beverages, art, and modern lifestyle experiences to Cambodian consumers. To further enhance customer convenience, emart24 also offers a 24-hour delivery service through its delivery partners, enabling customers to order Korean food, coffee, and exclusive products including the popular “No Brand” range anytime and anywhere.
emart24 is a subsidiary of Shinsegae Group, one of South Korea’s largest conglomerates with significant investments in retail, supermarkets, department stores, and hypermarkets. Listed on the Korea Exchange (KRX), Shinsegae brings extensive retail expertise and operational excellence to Cambodia. Across the Asia-Pacific region, emart24 operates nearly 7,000 stores, making it one of the region’s leading convenience store brands.
Mr. Ngorn David Sambo, Managing Director of SAIHAN PARTNERS, stated that emart24 plans to aggressively expand its footprint and reach 100 stores across Cambodia by the end of 2026. With the successful launch of its 22nd branch, the company continues to receive strong support from Cambodian consumers, building on the momentum achieved over the past few year.
He further revealed that 78 additional stores are currently under construction, design, or development in strategic locations including Veng Sreng, Riverside, Russey Keo, and several provinces nationwide. These stores are scheduled to open progressively throughout 2026. If development proceeds as planned, emart24 will successfully achieve its target of operating 100 stores nationwide by year-end.
Mr. David added that this expansion aligns with the Royal Government of Cambodia’s efforts to promote economic growth and create employment opportunities. The planned expansion is expected to generate approximately 2,400 jobs for Cambodian youth, providing stable employment and career development opportunities.
In addition, emart24 is committed to supporting local businesses and Cambodian craftsmanship by creating opportunities for local producers and entrepreneurs to distribute and showcase Khmer-made products through its growing nationwide network of stores. Through this initiative, emart24 aims to contribute to the growth of local communities while strengthening economic collaboration between Cambodia and South Korea. As emart24 continues to expand, the company remains dedicated to delivering convenience, quality products, innovative retail experiences, and exceptional customer service to consumers throughout Cambodia.
