GELZENKIRHEN – Spasilačke službe i vatrogasci reagovali su sinoć na dojavu požara u izbjegličkom smještaju do kojeg je došlo nakon što je državljanin BiH zaspao sa cigaretom. Vatrogasci Gelzenkirhena su sinoć, 16. maja, u 20:30 časova izašli na teren na dojavu zaposlenih u izbjegličkom smještaju u Hördeweg ulici u Feldmarku. Policija je saopštila da su vatrogasci uspjeli da iz zgrade izvuku više osoba – stanare i obezbjeđenje – bez povreda, i da ugase vatru.  Prema navodima policije, požar je izazvao 39-godišnji stanar iz Bosne i Hercegovine, koji je zaspao sa cigaretom. On je lakše povrijeđen i prebačen u bolnicu. Njegov dušek je potpuno uništen, a na zgradi je nastala manja materijalna šteta. Kriminalistička policija nastavlja istragu.  Kako prenose mediji, riječ je o manjem smeštaju koje spada u, sad već rijetke, izbjegličke objekte „sa karakterom stambene kuće“. Germanpolice shot and killed a tiger who previously attacked an elderly handler and escaped a private enclosure near the eastern city of Leipzig, police said on Sunday. Multiple media reports indicated that the animal belonged to well-known trainer Carmen Zander. The tiger tamer and performer owns a group of big cats held in an industrial estate in the community of Schkeuditz, just west of Leipzig. Some eight tigers are reportedly living under her care. Officials said none of the other tigers had escaped. Police kill tiger after attack The tiger injured a 73-year-old man, who worked at the enclosure. He then fled the complex. According to the mass-circulation Bild newspaper, the animal only managed to roam free for less than 30 minutes before it was shot by the police in a nearby garden.
