Paynesville, Liberia, June 19, 2026 – Montserrado County District #6 Representative Samuel R. Enders was involved in a violent confrontation, sparking widespread reaction across the community and beyond.
The incident, which was captured on video and has since gone viral on social media, reportedly stemmed from a contentious land dispute in the Nagbe Town community, District #6, Montserrado County.
It occurred shortly after the Paynesville City Magistrate Court ruled that it had no jurisdiction over the ongoing case. The court reportedly advised the disputing parties to seek redress at the Civil Law Court at the Temple of Justice.
The clash erupted outside the courthouse, where tensions had been escalating between Representative Enders and representatives of God’s Willing Incorporated, a local organization involved in the land dispute with the lawmaker.
An eyewitness identified as John Doe said the situation quickly escalated into a physical confrontation between Enders and an unidentified individual, drawing a crowd of shocked onlookers.
“It is deeply unsettling to witness a representative resort to physical violence over a land dispute,” Mr. Doe noted, while some residents have alleged that the lawmaker is using his influence to assert control over the disputed property.
However, during a press conference at his Capitol Building office on June 18, 2026, Representative Enders dismissed allegations that he routinely engages in land disputes, stating that he legally acquired the property from the owners in the King Gray community.
He maintained that he had purchased the land but said he had been advised not to disclose specific dates and details during the press conference due to sensitive circumstances.
He further challenged God’s Willing Incorporated to allow the legal process to take its course in determining the rightful owner of the property.
