São-Tomé 10 Abr 2026 ( STP-Press ) – As juristas são-tomenses, Natacha Amado Vaz e Nadjeida Castro foram eleitas no Parlamento para exercerem as funções de juízas conselheiras do Supremo Tribunal de Justiça, soube-se hoje em São-Tomé. Dos 52 votos disponíveis na plenária de quarta-feira, a juíza Natacha Amado Vaz obteve 43 votos favoráveis, a colega Nadjeida Castro arrecadou 42 votos a favor enquanto a outra candidata, Kotia de Menezes a conseguiu votos suficientes para ser eleita ao obter somente 23 votos favoráveis deixando uma vaga ainda em aberto neste Tribunal. Além de uma vaga ainda em aberto para posto de  juiz conselheiro, há quase um ano que o Supremo Tribunal de Justiça continua sem um presidente desde da demissão de Silva Gomes Cravid.
