CJM Enterprises Boscobelle hold a slight edge over Wanderers on a tightly contested day one of the Barbados Cricket Association four-day Intermediate Division competition finals on Saturday.
Wanderers were invited to take first knock after losing the toss on a bright sunny day at the Desmond Haynes Oval in St Michael.
Opening batters, Jazz Griffith and Davion Hoyte looked set to take control of the game when they got their team into the 80s within the first 15 overs.
With the introduction of left arm spinner Alston Bobb into the lineup, Boscobelle changed the direction of the game. Bobb picked up three of the first four wickets as Wanderers slumped from 81 without loss to 85 for four.
Griffith made 40 in 63 balls with three fours and two sixes, while Hoyte scored 38 in 42 balls, which included five fours and two sixes.

Just before the lunch interval, Wanderers lost Dominic Hart for eight, bowled by Jamal Boyce as Boscobelle regained the advantage with the score now 111 for five.
For the sixth wicket, Sylvester Moore and Diego Stuart built a 70-run partnership. Just after reaching a half century, Moore was LBW to Keron Boyce for a well played top score of 53 in 102 balls, four fours and two sixes. Bobb struck shortly after when he removed Stuart for 32 in 56 balls with three sixes, score 185 for seven.
Kemar Johnson found his form late in the evening when he cleaned up the tail-end of the Wanderers’ innings, removing the final three wickets as Wanderers were bowled out on 218 as play was called to an end.
Anthony Manning remained unbeaten on 22 for Wanderers. Johnson grabbed four for 44 while Bobb ended with four for 60 for Boscobelle.
Play for day two will begin on Sunday at 1 p.m.
