Le nom des deux dirigeants sportifs camerounais ne figure pas dans la liste des candidats éligibles pour les élections prévues le 12 mars 2025 au Caire.   Le Cameroun n’a pas de candidat à l’élection des membres du Comité exécutif de la Confédération africaine de football. A heavy rain warning and flash flood alert remains in force for the whole country. The Nadi weather office states there will be occasional rain, heavy at times and few thunderstorms over most places. Localised heavy falls may lead to flash flooding of low lying and flood prone areas. Areas that can be flooded include low-lying areas, informal settlements, small streams and iris crossing leading to disruption to traffic flow. Risk of isolated flooding of areas downstream of major rivers and coastal areas especially during high tide. Education Providers and Schools have been advised by the Minister of Education and Human Resources Development (MEHRD) to comply with the regulations on school fee limits based the Education Act 2023 and the Education Regulation 2024. Minister Tozen Leokana issued the advisory in light of concerns about the inconsistent charging of school fees from schools across the country.  He said the ministry is aware of the complaints raised by parents, guardians, and school fee-payers, about the inconsistencies in school fees charged to students attending Primary Preparation Year (PPY), Primary and Secondary schools this academic year (2025). The border between Rwanda and the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) near the besieged city of Goma was closed on Monday, a European consulate source and witnesses said, hours after M23 rebels and Rwandan troops entered the eastern Congolese regional capital. Rwanda has denied involvement despite credible reports from the UN that it was backing the M23 rebels.  “The border is closed,” the consulate source told the AFP news agency. “No one is coming in, no one is going out, apart from a few UN staff and their families evacuated this morning,” said an aid worker at the main border crossing between the two countries.
