Both the buying and selling prices of the dollar dropped by approximately two piasters.
Concurrently, other Arab currencies are also depreciated against the Egyptian pound.
The dollar exchange rate against the Egyptian pound on Thursday recorded a minor decline at the NBE during mid-day trading, settling at LE50.82 for buying and LE50.92 for selling.
The Kuwaiti dinar also saw a slight decrease at the NBE during mid-day trading, reaching LE164.17 for buying and LE165.24 for selling.
The Saudi riyal similarly experienced a slight weakening at the NBE during mid-day trading, settling at LE13.50 for buying and LE13.56 for selling.
The UAE dirham witnessed a small drop at the NBE during mid-day trading, reaching LE13.82 for buying and 13.86 LE for selling.
The Qatari riyal, when compared to the Egyptian pound, also recorded a slight depreciation at the NBE during mid-day trading, settling at LE12.90 for buying and LE13.97 for selling.
