The Barbados Living Laboratory, a research-only facility, shows the Government’s focus on public health, according to Prime Minister Mia Amor Mottley. The lab was officially opened by Prime Minister Mottley and Minister of Health and Wellness, Senator Jerome Walcott, at the Best-dos Santos Public Health Laboratory in St. Michael. The Barbados Living Laboratory has been awarded a government grant of $2.5 million BBD to boost research in human and biological sciences.
