THE DBS Market Outlook 2025 will take place on Wednesday (Dec 4), with attendees expected to gain insights on the economic and investment outlook for next year, and learn how to take advantage of growth opportunities.
Held at the Sands Expo and Convention Centre, the event will include two presentations – one on the market outlook by DBS economist Chua Han Teng, and another on the investment outlook by DBS senior investment strategist Daryl Ho.
There will also be a panel discussion moderated by The Business Times’ deputy news editor Anita Gabriel, with the event being capped off with a networking session.
DBS group head of corporate and SME banking Koh Kar Siong will give a welcome address and participate in the panel. He joined DBS in 2003, and has 30 years of experience in banking.
As a member of the Institution Banking Group’s management committee, he is responsible for the growth of mid-sized corporates and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in six markets: Singapore, Hong Kong, Taiwan, India, Indonesia and China.
In addition to Koh, the panel discussion – titled “Seizing opportunities in Asia’s new growth frontiers” – will feature two other speakers: Saurabh Dhingra, EY-Parthenon Asean financial services strategy leader and partner, strategy and transactions at EY Solutions; and Daniel Tay, founder and chief executive of food solutions company Foodgnostic.
