A MAN aged 31 could not control his emotions when he narrated in the Matero Local Court how he spotted his wife of 10 years romantically holding hands with another man after she lied to him that she was out of Lusaka on business.
Felix Sinyangwe filed for divorce on grounds that his wife Lizzy Machizya left him and asked him to move on with his life because she was no longer interested in the marriage.
In this case, Sinyangwe sued Machizya for divorce. The couple got married in 2014 and have two children. Bride price was paid.
Sinyangwe said problems in their marriage started a few years ago when his wife started a business.
He said his wife’s business involved travelling out of Lusaka to buy goods for resale.
“My wife and I lived in harmony before she started a business. She used to treat me like a man and her husband, but problems came after she started her business and started traveling a lot. She stopped caring for me,” he said.
He recalled one day when his wife left home and informed him that she was going to make her orders out of Lusaka.
Sinyangwe said immediately she left home, his wife turned off her phone and never communicated whether she had reached her destination.
He said he tried to call her but that she was unreachable causing him to worry…https://enews.daily-mail.co.zm/welcome/home
