LOVE Island star Mollie Salmon’s ex-boyfriend has been left blindsided after she began dating a fellow Islander just DAYS after leaving him.
Casa Amor bombshell Mollie had been dating Olly Wilson since April of this year before mysteriously ending their relationship out of nowhere in September.
Earlier this week, The Sun exclusively revealed how Mollie had been secretly dating star of this year’s show Blu Chegini for weeks in secret and we can now confirm she met the fellow Islander just days after last speaking to ex Olly.
Mollie split with Olly after he turned 26 in mid-September with insiders revealing she last spoke to him on the 30th of that month to insist she wanted to be single going forward.
But Mollie met Blu less than a week later at Tulley’s Shocktober Fest’s press night with the duo having been dating ever since.
In a further blow, Olly is understood to have had many mutual friends with Blu and even saw him just days before his villa stint this summer.
Revealing all on the messy break-up, friends of the former couple told The Sun: “The news that Mollie has moved on with Blu has come as such a shock.
“Olly was left confused when she abruptly ended their five-month relationship without warning in mid-September just days after his 26th birthday.
“They had been spending every weekend together and Mollie even enjoyed a lavish dinner out with all of Olly’s family just hours before suddenly going cold.
“He told pals she left his house and then went off radar for two days before insisting she needed to be single despite the pair having already planned for the future.”
The insiders added: “No one could quite work out why Mollie had gone so cold all of a sudden.
“She had the perfect life with Olly yet appeared to throw it all away with no good reason.
“He told pals he felt like he had been totally ghosted by her, leaving him shocked and let down.”
Those close to the ex-couple then revealed how Olly was gobsmacked to learn she had begun dating a friend of a friend – former Islander Blu – just days after he last heard from her.
Another source told The Sun: “Olly used to live with Blu’s best pal from Marbella and last saw him days before his first stint on the island.
“Blu had even liked story posts of Olly and Mollie in the weeks before their split.

When contacted by The Sun, Mollie said to us: “I’d like to clarify that I didn’t ghost Olly.
“I waited until after his birthday to end things because I didn’t want to upset him beforehand.
“I chose to end the relationship because I’d lost the physical connection — I tried to work through it, but I just didn’t feel the same anymore.
“Recently, I’ve started seeing someone new, which happened sooner than I expected, but it wasn’t planned. I never meant to hurt anyone’s feelings.”
Mollie and Blu’s romance is still in its early stages but they have already stepped out a number of times together.
Blu became best known for two very short-lived stints on the ITV2 programme and for failing to find a solid connection during his time in the villa.
Mollie lasted less than five days during her time as a Casa Amor girl on the show.
She failed to find any connections in the villa and was soon axed from the line-up.
