SAN JUAN (CyberNews) – La presidenta alterna de la Comisión Estatal de Elecciones de Puerto Rico (CEE), Jessika Padilla Rivera, reiteró este jueves que el candidato electo Eliezer Molina Pérez no ha sido certificado debido a la falta de documentación requerida bajo los Artículos 7.2 y 10.11 del Código Electoral de Puerto Rico (Ley Núm. 58-2020). Padilla Rivera enfatizó que la certificación final no es discrecional, sino un acto que depende del cumplimiento de los requisitos establecidos por ley. “Sin distinción de persona, cada acción de la Comisión se realiza conforme establece la Ley”, afirmó. La CEE informó que la falta de documentación ya fue notificada al candidato electo a través de su representación legal mediante comunicación electrónica, exhortándolo a completar el trámite necesario para obtener la certificación oficial.
