വയനാട് ഡിസിസി ട്രഷററര്‍ എന്‍ എം വിജയന്റെയും മകന്റെയും മരണത്തിലെ ആത്മഹത്യാ പ്രേരണക്കേസില്‍ ഐ സി ബാലകൃഷ്ണന്‍ എംഎല്‍എയുടെയും ഡിസിസി പ്രസിഡന്റ് എന്‍ ഡി അപ്പച്ചന്റെയും അറസ്റ്റ് 15വരെ കോടതി തടഞ്ഞു. ഒളിവില്‍പോയ പ്രതികള്‍ കല്‍പ്പറ്റയിലെ ജില്ലാ സെഷന്‍സ് കോടതിയില്‍ നല്‍കിയ മുന്‍കൂര്‍ ജാമ്യാപേക്ഷ പരിഗണിച്ചാണ് നിര്‍ദ്ദേശം. അറസ്റ്റ് അഞ്ച് ദിവസത്തേക്ക് പാടില്ലെന്നാണ് കോടതി വാക്കാല്‍ നിര്‍ദേശിച്ചത്. 15ന് കേസ് ഡയറി ഹാജരാക്കാനും നിര്‍ദേശിച്ചു.കേസില്‍ പ്രതികളായതോടെ ബാലകൃഷ്ണനും അപ്പച്ചനും ഫോണ്‍ സ്വിച്ച്ഡ് ഓഫ് ചെയ്ത് ജില്ല വിട്ടിരുന്നു. എന്നാല്‍ ഐ സി ബാലകൃഷ്ണന്‍ ഒളിവിലല്ലെന്നും പൊലീസ് സുരക്ഷയുള്ള എംഎല്‍എയാണെന്നും അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ അഭിഭാഷകന്‍ പ്രതികരിച്ചു.
