According to the President’s Media Division, the Cabinet Ministers of the new government will be sworn in before President Anura Kumara Dissanayake at 10.00 a.m. tomorrow (Nov. 18) at the Presidential Secretariat in Colombo.
The Cabinet will be limited to 25 or even less and that there will be scientific method in allocation of subjects for the ministries said by General Secretary of (JVP) Tilvin Silva.
However, the inaugural session of the Tenth Parliament, comprising of members elected through the 2024 General Election held on November 14, is scheduled to commence on November 21, as per the Extraordinary Gazette Notification No. 2403/13 dated 2024.09.24 issued by the President.
